Editorial policy
This policy explains how we write, review, source, and update the content on this site.
Who writes
The Skinovatio Lincoln Park Clinical Team writes the treatment pages and the posts. Named authors are added once their license and role are confirmed.
How we check
Every clinical number is checked against the product label, the FDA’s own documents, or the published study before a page goes up.
Sources
We rely on product labels, the FDA, peer-reviewed studies, and named public bodies, cited inline next to the claim they support. We don’t cite other clinics or use numbers we can’t trace to a source. Transit and parking facts are checked against the CTA and the City of Chicago. If a fact can’t be verified, it doesn’t go on the page.
Language we use, and language we don’t
Devices are “FDA-cleared” (Morpheus8, Forma, the Candela GentleMax Pro, IPL). Drugs are “FDA-approved” for their labeled use and nothing wider: Kybella for submental fat, Botox for the lines on its label. No “permanent,” no promises of an outcome, and no “best.” We don’t name competitors.
Prices
Pricing depends on your treatment plan, so each page explains the factors that affect cost. Botox is priced by the plan, not the unit.
Results
Individual results vary, and each page says so once. Every before and after is consented and labeled by treatment, number of sessions, time since the last one, and location.
Reviews
Every review we share is real, unedited, and labeled by source. We don’t paraphrase a review, and we don’t move a staff name from a review into copy.
Updates
Pages are re-read and corrected whenever a label, a clearance, or our own protocol changes.
Corrections
If you notice an error, please let us know. Use the contact form or email info@skinovatiolincolnpark.com, and we’ll correct it and note the date of the change. The team page lists who is responsible for what.
